H I S T O R Y

 

Hi, I'm Meg and I'm a founding member of The Vinyls!

 

It all started a year after I finished directing the Central Connecticut State University ACAbellas. To put it simply, I missed it all! The music, the performances, and the great times with friends. So, during the summer of 2013, I reached out to fellow past ACAbellas, my dear friends Mary and Darcey, and we put our plan in motion!

 

Currently, there are five of us in our ranking: our three founders (Meg, Mary, Darcey) and two exceptionally talented women in our ranks: Chrissy, Elizabeth, and Jill! Elizabeth comes to us from WPI where she directed their all-female group the Technichords. Jill is an alumna of the University of Hartford where she directed the all-female UHarmonies.

 

This has been an incredible journey so far, and we cannot wait to see where this group can go as we continue to grow!
